Plaster Master and Hydro-Seal HM are liquid admixtures mixed directly into plaster or concrete during construction — they improve workability and prevent water penetration from within. Aquashield Ultima and Aquashut Roof ER are surface-applied coatings used after construction — Aquashield Ultima is for exterior walls, while Aquashut Roof ER is specifically for terraces and roofs, with added heat-insulation benefits.

Both. The admixtures (Plaster Master, Hydro-Seal HM) are best added during construction since they mix into fresh plaster or concrete. The coatings (Aquashield Ultima, Aquashut Roof ER) are designed for surface application and work on existing walls and roofs, making them ideal for retrofitting older homes with leakage issues.

Aquashield Ultima and Aquashut Roof ER both come with a 10-year performance warranty when applied as per the recommended three-coat process. Actual longevity depends on surface preparation and correct dosage/dilution during application.

DampLock products are formulated for easy use with standard cement mixers and water resistance mixers, so a competent contractor or mason can apply them without specialized equipment. That said, for coating products, following the exact dilution ratios and coat sequence is critical to achieving the warranty-backed performance, so we recommend using an experienced applicator or consulting our team first.

It does both. Aquashut Roof ER uses Hydro Repel technology that seals the roof surface against water while also acting as a heat barrier, which lowers roof surface temperature and helps cool interior spaces — particularly useful for top-floor rooms during summer.

Both are dosed at 200 ml per 50 kg bag of cement. Add the product to the mixer after about 75% of the water is already in, then continue mixing as usual — no change to your existing plastering or concreting process is needed.
